Conveniently may laptop (PC) died as well and I purchased a new laptop (Mac). When I got home and realized that I would be unable to transfer files to my other laptops I purchased this hard drive specifically for the universal feature where it can work on both PC and Mac other than that it is a hard drive.

Great for Xbox One

It did take me a little over a yr to fill up the older one. I have everything installed on this new drive except apps, and im only at 43% capacity, and thats lots of games!!! Its quiet and looks good sitting on top of the Xbox One

I am using it as a backup for my laptop files, and it works fine. The blue color is quite useful if you have another one in black. You can separate the types of files that you save in each one, and you immediately realize which one you need before plugging it in.

flawless operation

The XBOX is a memory hog when loading your games and you can quickly run out of space and end up deleting games in order to play new ones. Simply plug this into a usb port and that's it. Have been using this for about 5months now and it has worked flawlessly and I have not needed to delete any aps or games.

easy startup and use

I have downloaded tons of pictures and also backed up my laptops hard drive. I am currently traveling for the next three months and this has been a lifesaver. Just the size alone is a blessing, I can put it in my pocket and forget about it. I am looking forward to many years of service with this product

External Hard Drives, outstanding

I collect everything, recipes, pictures, music & the list goes on. Each thing I decide to collect thousands of I buy it's own personal hard drive so I guard my little stash like crazy.
