    This product does not work with Mac and it does not come with instructions. The instructions online are not terribly helpful. This product is not Mac-user friendly. After an hour of trying to get it to work, I gave up. I returned the Seagate and got a WD (Western Digital for Mac), which cost a little more, but I had the WD working in 5 minutes. I've already backed up all of my files! So far, so good with WD. I don't recommend Seagate.

    Formatted this for my Mac and it works without any issues. I wish it was an SSD, but those cost too much. USB3 connectors are a little flimsy, but the speed makes up for it.

    Easy plug and "play" storage for a mac. Drag the files and in and you are good to go.
