I am so GLAD to have it, and I installed it in the PS4 console. It is so PERFECT and has the PLENTY memory. I love the PS4 games, I have 5 games. They eat around 430GB memory. 2TB is worth it! I suggest the gamers should buy it for PS4.

Just what I was looking for. Great storage and slim in size. Easy to use. So easy to transfer and save data. So simple to use I bought a second one to back up the first one I bought.

Remove the Samsung 2TB Drive from the case and replaced internal PS4 drive, plenty of space, system sleeps fine, and cheaper than buying the bare drive.

Love this product. I have had 3 portable hard drives all from Seagate and they have not failed me! USB 3.0 is a must for large files. Easy to use and carry around. The outside exterior has a matte aluminum finish which i prefer. Shiny plastic casing tend to scratch easily if you use it on a daily basis.

I purchased this backup drive for my grandson's Xbox One. His system came with 500gb which is not enough for his games. The drive worked immediately once plugged into the Xbox One via USB. You can run the games directly from this external drive the same as the internal drive. Excellent drive!!

I purchased this hard drive to upgrade the internal hard drive in the PS4. I'm happy to report that it works well and at the end you can place your original PS4 hdd in the case and reformat it to be used as a normal USB Storage Drive. Make sure to do a full backup of the PS4 if you don't want to re-download digital content or loose title that cannot be downloaded again like P.T. Also make sure to download the full PS4 firmware to restore the console the size is around 900mb if your file if 278mb or so that is only the upgrade file and will not work to restore your system.

This works as I was told. While I've spent mega bucks on computer stuff, there are sometimes things that do not work as you expect them to. This one works as advertised, even for someone who is not totally savvy to computer nuances. So far, so good!! It even tells me when I need to back up.

I've long favored Seagate over WD for external backup drives, so when my son was looking for one to back up both his Mac and Windows machines, I bought him this one. He reports it was fast, worked seamlessly with both computers, and he was amazed how small backup HDs had become. Top marks.

This product is as advertised. It runs off the same usb port where it transfers data, no other power source required. It is slim and very portable, smaller than most cell phones.

Works exactly as it should and can be used in tandem with a security device to scan older files coming in. I loaded all of my work and personal files onto it, as well as about a billion pictures, and things I didn't need but was not going to let go. I still only used less than 300 gig.

Used it to backup all my pictures and music, very lightweight and fast!

My laptop has only 256 GB of SSD, I was looking for a compact hard disk which is light in weight and easy to carry .This fits in my pocket ,Perfectly suits my requirement .

I bought this hard drive to upgrade my son's PS4 that was out of memory. It fit well in the console and was easy to set-up. I would definitely buy this again. It was well worth the money. Now my son is no longer complaining about the memory. He has the memory of 4 PS4s in his system now.

Easy to set up on my MAC. Small size makes it very easy to carry in my laptop bag and large capacity means I won't need another drive for a while to store my photos on. Great for traveling.

I bought this hard drive to install in my new PS4. After removing it easily from the enclosure I was able to follow the simple online directions to remove my old PS4 hard drive and install this one. It works fantastic and took my PS4 from 500GB to 2TB of storage. What's not to like!

I gave this 4 stars because I originally purchased this for use with my Mac. When I got home, I plugged it up and it prompted me to install software and then for MacBook usage you could only store your data on their "cloud" you couldn't drag and drop files onto the hard drive which is what I wanted for convenience. (I don't think this dragging and dropping issue I had would be a problem with a PC). Anyway, I took the hard drive back and the sales rep in Best Buy (who specialized in Apple computers) had the same issue. Solution?? He fully reformatted the hard drive for me. Basically, he removed the annoying software Seagate had on the hard drive so it became simply a drag and drop external hard drive (much like a flash drive) which is exactly what I wanted for my purposes. I know some people like the cloud for added backup in case something happened to the hard drive itself but I didn't want to mess with all of that. Not to mention the hard drive came with a few years of free storage but then you had to pay for it.

Quick Assessability to a large storage works with most gaming console for expanded storage

I need to back up every day, and I don't want to have to jump through a lot of technical hoops to do it. The Seagate Backup I bought goes right into my USB port. I can even set it to only backup what has changed since the last backup, which saves a lot of time. I can't believe how small these external drives have become - the first 1TB I bought years ago cost a hundred bucks and was the size of a large VHS tape, only much heavier (it was portable in the way a large encyclopedia is portable!). My Seagate has twice the capacity, is about 1/8 the size, and cost 40% less. And it literally fits in my pocket.
