    after my purchase of this item for my son's video game backup, it worked great... for about 10 days. Died unexpectedly. Anyway, I took it back in and they replaced it promptly with an apology for the nuisance. Terrific! So we have a new one...hope it lasts!

    This Seagate - Backup Plus 2TB did not work with my HP Dv6700 laptop running Vista. Ended up exchanging it for a 2T WD My Passport Ultra for the same price. The WD drive worked perfectly as soon as I connected to my computer. I do not recommend buying the Seagate drive.

    My husband got this and was told it will working with his playstation 4. He can't get it work, can't transfer files and he not happy with result and decided return. I will not recommend this to only gamers but others this is still good product.

    After having 3 WD drives fail and lose data, I decided to try their competitor. It will be a while whether I know I made the right choice. As to the next question, would I recommend this to a friend... the jury is still out on that one.
