good condition and recommend others to take this .

I picked this up a few weeks ago and so far so good.

I am not able to transfer pictures from this device to my computer. I contacted customer service and they were not helpful. I do however have some documents and pictures saved on it, so I suppose it wasn't a total waste of money

Fine backup for my pc, but not for all the other devices that could be backedup through my Linksys router. Some FAT Format contention that is between Seagate and Linksys. Disappointing, but can still back up manually.

After downloading this product I had computer issues. Unsure if it's related to the hard drive but hopefully I will see. Question: how do you know if all the files really downloaded without applying it to another computer.

I followed the procedure stated for putting my photos in this and I was not able to make a photo album like I wanted. I could drag and drop, but not as described for the purpose why I bought it. May need store help.

It didnt last that much and it started having trouble until now it takes so long to read stuff. I really dont know whats wrong with it. i had about 1.3TB of data in it so i bought a new 4 TB drive to back it up. it took the drive almost a week of copying files even though i was using usb 3.1 connections. it was painfully slow and some files had been damaged. i am going to shuck the drive and see if wiping it fixes it so i can use it as an internal drive for whatever but i would never use it a main drive or to store valuable things.

The backup works as intended. However, there is no way to limit the number of automated backups so the drive can actually fill up after a few months of backups. It is good that it is only USB powered.

The product didn't work and I had to take it back to the store and exchange it for one that did work. Unfortunately I couldn't get the red one that I had ordered because the store didn't carry the red one.

I bought this external back up for my business. I initially had a problem with set up and couldn't use the product. Since then, I have not had time to play with it but I am sure it is fine.

Great price but is not plug and play for Mac users which is strange as it is not just a formatting issue which would be an easy fix. You need to download seagate software !!!

It is not a plug and play hard drive. Adding the feature of auto sync when the file changes required complicated steps for required software installation.

I wanted just a normal portable external hard drive, easy and fast to use...but this one you have to install it, do for every pc you need to waste some time in order to use it.

Slim and sleek, but VERY COMPLICATED setup with Apple products. Compatible but not easy especially if you don’t have specific computer skills.

I bought this External Hard drive to back up my lap top. It's easy as 1 2 3 no problems. just plug it in and it's up and running. small and thin. caring it with you no problem,it fits in my pants pocket. Best thing besides as easy as 1 2 3, no power cord it uses the usb for power. you don't need to carry a power cord with you.!! just the hard drive and the usb cord. It's everything I was looking for in a hard drive with 2.0 and 3.0 usb. 2 of my friends bought 1 and they love it also. You will too.

Could not fiqure out how to use this thing. Had professional help and they gave up on how it works. The guy at Best Buy was clueless which should have been a warning.

After reading reviews before purchasing the hard drive, the product was not compatible for IPads like what most of the reviewers stated.

This external hard drive works fine but there are no feet on the bottom, so it slides all over your desk and when placed on top of your laptop.

Difficult to setup on multiple computer home network. Needed assistance of WD customer service to do this. They were very knowledgeable and helpful.

This drive works great. My only issue is it contains an SMR drive. Good for sequential writes, but very poor for random writes
