This one needs to download tool kit, install, set up, register, etc. so many things and did not backup as you want to SAVE.

Like the WD drives better

Think Best Buy unfortunately stopped carrying the ultra WDs that hold 1T and just carry specisl ones WD just makes for them. Could be wrong. The ultra WD super easy to use but have to remember a few items not in user profile have to add to backup.

External Drive is very sensitive, easy to go bad

Needs software installed

I had purchased Seagates in the past and was always happy with them. This, however, is not plug and play and requires a huge program to be installed, which was not an option for me. I returned it and bought a plug and play hard drive.

Lost my pictures

After 2 years no longer works. Switched cords and still nothing. Unit charges but and not retrieve all my valuable memories. Beware, cost to retrieve memories $300
