I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas to has extra memory on his PS4 and it doesn't work with PS4 even tho the Best Buy web site said it would.

These items are what they are that is their nature commodities get the idea what else is there to say if it's dances like a duck it might be a goose

since it did not come with instructions, i returned these two items because i could not download any instructions on the best way to use them.

Awesome. No problems with removing from case to install in my PS4. A great deal for 1.7 usable Tb. A little advice, before swapping drives backup your system, game saves and install data to another external from old drive.Took me about 4 hours for approx 400 Gb. After you install and reinitialize this new drive, install the OS and restore the data to from the external to the new 2 Tb drive and you will not need to reinstall everything individually. Took me about 7 hours for total backup and restore and I still have 1.43 Tb left! After all this I was even able to put the 500 Gb stock drive in the case and use it as an external for media.

I do not recommend. Corrupts every time. Have had 2-3 times. My experience = SUCKS

Wouldn’t recommend. Spent twelve hours moving files over and when it was done, they weren’t accessible. Lost files forever.

I had issues with this item. Returned for a WD portable hard drive.

Great product for my needs. Ample space allows me to transfer and save a great deal of photos and videos! Very slim, portable, and easy to store and take along!

Stopped working and lost all files within the first month

7 months after my purchase, I've had no problems with the device. It was easy to extract from casing & install into my PS4. Completely satisfied.

Unfortunately. This backup drive didnt wir j. Returned it g or a different version that is working fine.

This item says it's for Mac and PC, but no matter what I do I cannot get it to work with my Macbook Pro

This external HD is small, sleek and fast. Works exactly as it should, and it portable enough to fit into my lightweight ultrabook carry bag.

I bought two of these for my kids xbox and both failed within two months of each other.

Bought this drive to back up wife's computer. Very compact, easy to set up, and transferred files quickly. Completely satisfied.

Bought it Feb 7 and today 3/28 it is dead. Took many of my recorded tv shows with it.

The hard drive is really small, I was surprised at the size of it when I first got it. Makes sense though, since it has an external hard drive enclosed in a case, essentially. I got this for my PS4 so I promptly cracked it open, gently, and proceeded to place it in my PS4. The process is relatively easy and there are tons of online videos to help you along. I placed the 500 GB hard drive back in the enclosure, so now I have a 500 GB external HDD and a PS4 with 2 TB hard drive, win-win.

Put 20,000 files on drive and it froze. Returned for a Western Digital drive.

Clerk incorrectly told me this would work in PS4. Does not. I wasted 100 bucks.
