This product does exactly what I wanted so its perfect!

For those that can never decide on what external drive to get, IT DOESN'T MATTER. They all do the same. The only thing that matters is on how much memory you need. You can use it for both windows and mac.

Going on 4 years as my back up drive for my computers, never had a problem, used it for both a mac and then a PC.

Initially, I was expecting faster speed because this is USB 3.0 HDD. I guess it is normal for the performance because the price.

I have a 500GB storage xbox and I ran out of space really fast. It was a super fast purchase and it's very lightweight. I like that it comes in different colors. Looks very slick. Love it!

We bought this for the Xbox One. It was super easy to set up. Plug in, follow the onscreen Xbox One Menu prompts, and you are all set. It is working great for us for the past 3 weeks.

I've had this for over a year now and it's still going strong. I know there will always be bad units from every company, but I haven't had any issues with Seagate, unlike Western Digital.

I also purchased this hard drive for my PS4. Worked like a charm and then some. Easy, clean installation, and the case is being put to good use as it's reusable. Don't toss it out!

This hard drive is indeed very slim, with its 9.5mm thickness being comparable to an internal laptop hard drive.

It was MUCH SMALLER than expected, which in my opinion, is great. I was able to transfer over 100GB of files, movies, etc. within about 10 minutes [using the cable provided plugged into the USB 3.0 slot in my laptop]. The silver matches my laptop which I love. It's ultra portable. I hooked it up to my Vizio TV and it was able to play .mp3, .mp4, .jpeg, .png and .avi beautifully. 2TB will hold me off for a LONG TIME. Great job Seagate!

This is my first Seagate storage device and didn't have any difficulty using it for first time. I recommend this one if you don't have a need for more than 2TB.

Got this for transitional storage and keeping duplicates. Great responsiveness and super portable. Reformatted it for my Mac and it works great with El Capitan.

Works for me. Only thing I am giving four start because writing speed bit slow as USB 3.

I'm using the the Seagate 2TB portable hard drive to store extra items on my computer. So far it has been easy to set up and has worked as expected.

it is the one you need while you are out of home or out of office or out of school You can store a lot of stuffs while you are working outside.
