Seagate Backup Plus Slim actually has metallic looking plastic case. Very portable and thin. I wish it had rubberized pods on the bottom to avoid slippage on the desk. It does the job of backing up files via included Seagate Toolkit software. But Toolkit generates an unnecessarily complex set of directories when you initiate the general one-click backup plan. You have to drill down almost ten levels just to get to My Documents after the backup. I suppose you can use any other backup software. BTW I took advantage of Best Buy's price match and saved $15. For that reason, for great service and for knowledgeable, friendly associates, I always return to Best Buy.

Easy to setup and use. Very light and sturdy. Good memory.

It's slim but packs a lot of space. I had to format it so that it would save Mac and PC files but after that it is great espically the factor cloud storage which gives you extra storage in the cloud.

I’m very happy with the small size of this hard drive. I haven’t had any problems with it and have owned it for almost 1 year. It is recognized by every computer that I connect it to.

Great product ! I am a huge Seagate fan ! I own 4 other external backup drives over a 4 year period and have never had any problems with any of them !

This is the 3rd one I have purchased, 1 for myself and 2 for other family members. This one is great for college students to be able to bring with them to class and backup their work.

The HDD woks great (plug-&-play), and USB 3.0 cable/connector makes it fast to transfer / backup very large files quickly. The HDD is very slim, and silent. I have not had any issues since purchase so far.

I recently had a computer crash. After that I bought this product to back up my computer but what I didn't know was it also had a cell phone back up feature. Just today something strange happened with my cell phone when I went to do a sync with my computer it wiped out all of my contacts out of outlook and all of the contacts off of my phone. Thank God I had this product and my cell phone was backed up to it. All I had to do was open the app click restore and everything was back Within seconds! This was a complete lifesaver today it saved me from being in a major panic. I run a business and all of my clients information is what got erased today. This product saved my life and my business!

I got this to backup my Windows 7 HP computer before upgrading to Windows 10. Amazon had it for $84 and BB matched the price. Backs up quick using USB 3.0. Slim, compact, and fast. Highly recommended.

This external drive is just what I need. I take tons of photos and store them using both a Windows based computer and a Mac. This hard drive flawlessly allows me to switch between the two when storing.

I bought this hard drive specifically for my PS4. I have downloaded numerous of games that would have probably made the initial hard drive to go slow.

I use this drive as a back up of my back up drive, which is another Seagate. I take one in my briefcase and one stays at home. Even if my briefcase is stolen, my data is still on the drive at home.

Functions like it should. Very easy and quick to set up for Mac and/or Windows. Easy to travel with too...only problem is it has no protective case, but I should have thought of at time of purchase.

Got this from Best buy to have extra storage for my Pictures. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that this had a 200GB Cloud Storage from Microsoft OneDrive for Free . Totally worth every penny.

I was looking for an additional portable storage device and found this on sale when I visited Best Buy. It is my second 2 gig drive and is half the size of the one that I purchased two years ago. Set up was simple and fast. Transfer from a laptop to the drive via USB 3.0 was a breeze. I was using this to save all the files I had on the laptop in order to factory reset the computer. So far I have had no negative issues with the Seagate drive.

This is excellent 2TB portable hard drive and the Best Buy sale price made it a bargain for a 2TBs drive. I prefer Seagate drives over other brands. The USB 3.0 definitely speeds up transfers from my PC.

This portable seagate hard drive is great! I've had one for more than a year and I've never ran into any problems. Recently needed another one and got myself my second seagate portable hard drive.
