The hard drive was very easy to install just simply plugging it into the xbox one and started saving games.

As a photographer I need this to store photos on for clients and have peace of mind knowing my work is safe.

Bought this as it was cheaper than a stand alone HDD for 2TB to put in a Playstation 4. Just pop the l;id, swap the drives. Presto-chango now a 2TB PS4 AND a cheap 1TB external HDD for whatever I want.

good price for the amount of space on the back up, there is larger at best buy but this one fills my needs

I only knock off a point (would really only knock 0.5) for performance. Currently, there are internal 2.5" 2TB drives that run 7200RPM and that would be preferable. The drive performs well enough that I can run a virtual machine off of it without too much degradation compared to my desktop drive (about 10%). This is a fine portable drive for most users. I bought this to replace my Seagate FreeAgent Go Firewire 800 drive and this new one is certainly faster than the drive it replaces.

I needed a backup drive with more capacity. The first time I used this one I was amazed at how fast it was at backing up 900 GB of data, mostly photos and videos. The USB 3.0 connection, when used on a computer with a USB 3.0 port, makes backups at least three times faster! Also, with the sleek metal case, this drive seems to run cooler than my previous external drive.

the games for the XBox One have continued to grow in size. This Seagate backup has taken care of the storage issue perfectly. We have had it for over 2 years and it works just as well as it did when first purchased. I highly recommend this product.
