There really was not enough instructions or help. I didn't have any trouble getting it to backup, but have yet to figure out how to restore to my new computer. Also, with the toolkit it puts on your computer, it slow down the startup A LOT !!!!

Didn't Work

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It worked perfectly at first, but in the middle of a game, my PS4 has said I disconnected it (I did not), and as you probably know, that causes corruption. My PS4 never had this problem with my old hard drive, and when I tried to repair it, it said it was irreparable and needed to be formatted, which I didn't mind, but I was never able to. I got 3 different error codes and sometimes it would just perpetually load. I don't know if the problem was the cable or the hard drive itself, but after 5 hours of trying to format it, I'm returning it.

Unit was broken on delivery

I tried using a different 3.0 cable but problem persisted. Wiggle the cable just a bit and the unit would shut down. Returned to Best Buy no problem for an WD easy store unit.

Does NOT with Channel Master 7600

While connecting the system, I got as far as to Formatting the External Storage device! Upon completion the TV screen went dark, and the system wouldn’t respond to anything. After contacting Channel Master, it was discovered this External Storage Device is NOT comparable!!
