Backup drive seems to create separate backups by date, instead of just backing up new files each backup. This gives you multiple backups to sort thru, which may or may not have all of your files in them?? Its a little confusing, so I will have to explore it a little longer. The backups work fine, as scheduled.

I don't have a mac and the sales associate assured me it would still work... well you will have to format it and it's way easier to just purchase one formatted for a non mac, which is what I ended up doing...great product just get what works for you!

My daughter needed a Mac backup, and this one fit the bill, both with quality and price. It took a about 3 hours hours to back up, and it got pretty heated, but that happens to my normal hard drive too.

I bought this because my MacBook air kept giving me a disk fall error. After moving all of my files this did not solve the problem. It's great as a next ternal hard drive and has been wonderful for me to move files from one computer to another.

Great backup for a Macbook Pro. It's lightweight and slim which makes it portable. I partitioned the drive into two segments, one for backing up the Macbook and one for extra storage. Works perfectly.

This sleek looking hard drive is wonderful addition to my computer set up . It connected to my Mac right away and is very fast with transferring files . I would highly recommend this hard drive .

I did the time machine backup on my Apple Mini before I installed a new SSD drive. After the new drive was installed, I was able to restore from what I put on this external drive. No issues = great!

The problem I had with other drives was that I could either make the whole drive one image or a data backup. With the seagate dashboard and Disk wizard I can do both quickly with this one large drive, and quickly. Getting Disk Wizard was the only confusing part. Technical support was very helpful.

This is a great printer for someone who does basic office work. It also prints high quality pictures. The wireless function is very handy. You can even print pictures and documents from your phone.

Purchase this for my son he was very specific that it had to be this particular one we are very pleased with the memory and all of the options with this item it's the best bang for the buck

I'm about to graduate and the previous external hard drive failed. It was critical that I not lose all portfolio project work so close to graduation. This backup unit is just what I needed.

I needed a external hard drive to store files incase my computer had to be replaced and the previous hard drive was not compatible with mac because it was older I was told. Worked well for what I needed.

This Seagate is backward compatible for USB 2.0. It's already formatted for Apple, so no brainer and works perfectly. And, of course the price is really low at BestBuy for this unit.

Just plug it into a usb port on your computer (I have a Macbook Air) and it starts itself. When the little Wheel quits turning, it's done, eject it and you are good till next time
