Great external HD. Very lightweight when compared to my Toshiba that recently crashed. I hope this lasts much longer and isn't as sensitive if it falls. Only time will tell.

Great for use with my MacBook. Backups don't take too long (depending on how many files you have). Seems like it's quality-built.

Great Backup Drive for a very reasonable price. Ended up being smaller than my needs unfortunately, but was still a great deal and I didn't regret purchasing it as a result.

Even though my 1TB HD on my iMac only uses 300MB a 500MB Seagate Backup would not work. This 1TB works with Time Machine and the 500MB Seagate is now the Time Machine drive for my MacBook

I'm not very experienced with using backup drives, but this one is pretty easy to use and its a nice, small size. I keep it in my computer case and I hardly know its there. Its also very lightweight. No problems thus far, I have been using it about 2 months.

If you're looking to have extra space on your iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, etc. I highly recommend this product. Good enough memory for an affordable price.

Super efficient and cheap costing external hard drive. Was purchased to serve as a time machine backup for my MacBook Pro. Super simple set up and use. No problems

Use it store my media and other stuff. Had to format it too make it detect automatically with windows, without having to download driver from seagate website.

This is my second external drive from Seagate and I absolutely love it! Connect quickly to my mac and I am able to quickly transfer files to the external drive.

Needed a simple 1TB back up drive for our Mac. This has been a real "plug and play" experience. Have been using it for nearly two months and find no problems.

Backs up automatically and all I have to do is click on the icon to open Seagate and make sure all my important stuff is there and accessible. It always is!

I have to admit, I was kind of "iffy" on purchasing this but I don't regret a thing!!! Very good hard drive!!!

Picked this up as a time machine backup for a Mac laptop and it has functioned perfectly so far. Would recommend it as a cost effective backup device.

I use this exclusively for Time Machine backups and it does its job to a great degree, I even transferred my data from my old laptop to my new one using this.
