They told me I could just plug it in and prompts come up to tell what to do. Well that was not accurate. I ended up calling a friend who is great with computers to show me what to do.

Unable to download to it.

Lost Everything!

Rechecked after downloading and all info was saved. A week later when I tried to put the info into a computer, I could hear a loud noise coming from the Seagate and no info could be found. I tried 3 different computers and even had an IT person try to find my info, but my info was gone -- all of it!! I had read reviews on this unit and none were good. Too bad I didn't follow their advice. Never again!

I downloaded it, and when it restarted, my macbook wouldn't even recognize it. I plugged it in the different usb ports and nothing. I had to return it.
