Im not a tech geek so I needed something simple and easy to use. There are no apps or additional programs needed. Just plug in and back up. Also very lightweight and perfect to carry if needed!

This Seagate worked great, I plug it into my mac and hit a few buttons to simple questions and the information started backing up. It was already formated for my MacBook which made it easy.

I had not considered an external hard drive in the past but it was suggested that it would be a good idea "just in case". I was pleased with the ease of installation and the fact that all I had to do was plug it into the USB port. It loaded my content on its own with no help from me. I feel much better knowing that my computers content is backed up. The unit is small and does not take up valuable "real estate" on my desk.

Bought this to back up a MacBook and it syncs and works perfectly. It's also great to store files and take with you when you don't want to lug around the laptop and you have access elsewhere.

Love the fact that it already works hand in hand with time machine, could not be easier to use to backup you mac or as additional storage.

Took a while to get the free one drive offer to work. They should make it simpler to get. Device though works well and is fast with USB 3 connection. Had no problems with time machine.

The Seagate slim works wonders for anyone looking to backup a mac. I used it to backup all my files before switching to a windows PC, which it had no problems with. Great Hard Drive.

This is my third Seagate 1TB Backup Plus Slim drive. I love their size, and quality. They work fine and are conveniently powered via the USB connection. No power brick required.

Purchased to transfer photos between mac and windows but have not been able to get this to work on a windows yet. Was unable to download the recommended dashboard with this item due to limitations of the mac but everything has been working. No regrets, would make purchase again

My computer crashed and I needed a backup. This one is easy to use. I plugged it in and it took over nd began working.I answered a few questions and it was done. How easy is that!

We are using several of these drives to backup and transfer files for mac and Pc. The price is very good and the quality is excelent. I would recomend this for any file sharing or backup storeage. If you need more space there are other options available at a reseanable price.

Been using it on my Macbook for time machine backups..it lags in first backup. However, it works faster from second backup on-wards.. regular copy is faster due to usb 3.0

This product is small and compact yet large enough to store all of my files. Simple installation.

I love the hard disk. However, the drawback is the hard disk needs a software to be downloaded to get it to working. Moreover, it doesn't work with win10 because the software for windows 10 has not been introduced yet. Otherwise the hard disk works absolutely fine.
