I purchased this drive looking for a good option to store all my photo's. Very easy set up with my MacBook Air, a great option for backing up all my digital files.

I chose this over the black one, which was the only other model in the store, just because of the color. Works great, seamlessly with pc. Definitely recommended.

Needed an external hard drive and this seemed like good price and was turned on to seagate by an employee. Definitely would purchase another. Just a solid product.

I love this hard drive, it's very small and light and easy to carry to school. also a lot of memory so i don't have to worry about it running out. Very happy with it

I've had Seagate backup drives in the past, as well as WD. This one was super easy to set up...pretty much plug and go. It's cool and quiet and gets the job done.

This is an easy way to back up your entire MAC and quickly. It just backs up your time machine so everything is there! The only complaint is that it doesn't seem to allow you to select WHAT to back up. I bought it to just back up my photos, but it automatically backs up the entire computer through time machine, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's also slightly difficult to find what you're looking for on the hard drive after the back up. But if you just put what you're looking for in the search box you can usually find it.

use this back up for transferring file from Windows to a new MAC and then was able to set up a new folder for Time Machine. Very easy to use and set up.
