Good price point for 1TB backup for Mac computers. Plug and play. Reliable

I bought it for Time Machine backups. The setup was easy and it's been working perfectly ever since. If I had to do it over again I might get the 2TB drive.

This is the second drive of this kind that I have purchased as I found the first simple to use and great to store. It's less fiddly then some others.

I could not be happier with this purchase. It was any easy set up and an even easier way to get everything new backed up since my old HD was going out!

I have only backed up a few times but it is very simple. I really appreciate the small size of this device. I can store it next to my desk or drop it in my purse or travel bag. It is much more convenient to use than the last device I had.

Easy to install, very robust, compact and holds lots of large files.

Bought this because I Es Ted to be safe in keeping and organizing all my photos. Since now a days I'm not printing them, this device is magnificent

I love having a small external hard drive to do my data backups. It's small enough to keep in my laptop bag and it holds all of my data in one place.

It's working fine with my imac. I only use it as an external hard drive for exporting my photos from Photoshop, so I can't really comment on the time machine function. Other than that, it's sleek, slim and has a nice feel/ texture to it.

Very small in design. Love it being slim. Installed and started with no problems. Was already set up for the MAC. At this point I am very pleased.

Our Mac external drive failed. Best Buy copied all the data over to this drive (which is faster and has more capacity) and everything is good now. I was concerned about Mac compatibility (no issue) and whether BB could recover the data (turns out our problem was in the electronics of the old unit, not the drive itself) so everything ended up terrific.

seagate hard drives are best, i'm using this brand from years. i love this slim silver model. and 5 star to super fast delivery from 'Bestbuy' .

this unit is very portable, and easy to use; there were several to chose from but the geeks gave me adequate information to make an educated choice

When pricing the MacBook Pro we decided to not pay for the additional memory on the computer and paid a third of the cost for 1TB external drive.

I have recently started dabbling in photography as a hobby. I never realized how fast RAW files would fill up storage on my laptop. This hard drive has been a life savor. Especially because they say you should always have more than one copy of a picture in case one of your hard drives fails. This device is super small but has a great deal of storage.

Good product and works well with my MAC. Was really ;looking for something easy to use to free u space on my MACBOOK Pro and this works great.

With Mac simply plug in and start up time machine, works immediately. The seagate downloadable software on the other hand doesn't seem to work.

Great little external drive. 1 whole TB in this tiny form factor still boggles the mind. So far has worked great as a backup drive for my laptop.
