Great backup drive for laptops

I haven't had any problems using it, it connects very quickly and expect it will last many years. I have found that WD drives have always been very reliable and I've never had any problems with any of their drives which I have bought in the past.

Ultra Portable HDD

I've only had the ex hdd for about a week, but so far it's been backing up my Macbook Pro without any hiccups. Plug n play right out of the box. Data transfer rates are as advertised. Being that it's an HDD and not a SSD, it's not super fast and doesn't utilize USB 3.0 to its full potential, but it's more than acceptable for what it is. Time Machine backup works flawlessly. Hope it keeps playing as nice as it has been. Price to performance ratio renders it a good value.
