Working well with my iMac and Time Machine. I had problems with another drive but this one works fine.

Plugged it in and and Time Machine immediately recognized it to start backup. Couldn't be better.

I bought this as a gift for my mom so she could use Time Machine to backup her Mac desktop. Set up was super simple - plug it in and click on a couple dialog boxes that appear automatically. Time machine then ran and we were done.

Purchased this item for my mac mini (mid 2010) plugged it in and started using time machine for it. Backing everything up took 2 full days, not sure if that's due to my mac or the hardrive but it still got the job done. I'm happy with it. Looks pretty good also. Matches perfectly.

I've gone through so many different disk drives and I had to do an exchange for another item because it didn't do what I needed it to. But I finally found this brand and decided on this brand. And I like it so far and it does what it needs to. Great for iMacs. I recommend this of you have one.

This is the my first backup hard and it work pretty good. The external hard drive is the best way to clear space on your computer. I like how it's capable for both PC & Mac.

We got this to use for time machine backup on our new imacs and it works well for that purpose.

I've had this hard drive for some time now, and it's a solid, sturdy drive at a great price.

Although it would be nice to have a higher transfer rate. Also, the price could be better and it seems that it is usually the case when we purchase Apple related product.

The external drive worked perfectly to transfer all my files from an old computer to a new one.

I got this to go with a laptop I recently purchased. I didn't want to risk using up too much space on the laptop for my film projects, so everything goes on this hard drive. Haven't had any issues so far and plenty of space left for more projects! Gets the job done, people!

Great backup drive for iMac. Plug and play with Time Machine. Now have backups of music and pics.

This is my go-to brand when getting hdds. Will probably work for the entire purpose period.

Was looking for an external hard drive for a Mac product to transfer all data to a new computer and was pleasantly surprised. Plug it in to the computer and drag and drop whatever files you want to backup. Also, is small and easy to fit into my computer bag.

This is a great harddrive and excellent for storing memories from your computer

Nothing spectacular. Simple, effective and already set up for MAC devices so no reformatting necessary. You can't use with windows unless you reformat harddrive.
