The item was bought to work as a time capsule backup for my mac. Since then I have hooked it up to my apple extrem base " wireless router" is flawlessly backs up all files as scheduled.

Fantastic product, through and through. It's fast, it's quiet, it's cool to the touch, and it's been working for almost 5 years. Amazing purchase!

We needed something smaller that a desktop back up for our daughter to take to college this drive was exactly what we were looking for. Power via USB is a big plus. The price was great as well.

It’s been about three years I bough this hard drive to store content I have carriers over the years and it is been working since then. I recommend it.

I use this mostly for my go pro videos because they take up so much room on my laptop. Haven't even come close to filling this thing up yet. But when I do I definitely will buy another.

I was concerned that backing up my Mac would be be complicated but I just plugged it in and fired up Time Machine. It took 6 hours the first time because I have USB 2.0 but it is very quick after that.

Works great gets the job done. Small and compact. All I have to do is plug it in it automatically backs up my MacBook and I can store anything else on it I want to. Super convenient

So far- no complaints. This drive works swiftly and perfectly, no problems with time or detection, everything runs smoothly and I've never had any data loss. Definitely worth the buy.

I needed an external hard drive because mine died and I needed to back up all my school work. I found the hard drive at a great price and bought it and it is serving its purpose to the max!

I have many photos and the cloud or my computer did not seem secure enough as a storage place. An external storage unit such as this is better. This Seagate is a great value for the price.

The Seagate Backup Plus 1 terabyte portable hard drive works flawlessly. Set-up was extremely simple, taking only about 5 minutes. If I ever need another hard drive, it will be a Seagate.

No configuration needed when using Macs buy then again it specifically said for use with Macs. Tried my Toshiba external on my Mac too much trouble. The Seagate is truly plug and use

Weather you are at the office or on the road this hard drive does it all , i love seagate hard drives for my Mac , they ARE the best in my opinion . you can't go wrong with this .

This hard drive was easy to link to my computer. It saves me the worry of crashing and losing everything, which is what happened prior to my purchasing this. Be safe and back up data!
