Easy to use but no instructions

I can't tell if it works but my Mac seemed to work with it. I was worried because there were no instructions and the website was of little assistance

External Back Up is so EASY to Use!

I have tried a couple different external back ups and found them difficult and frustrating to use-so my data was never backed up. Best Buy Rep recommended the Seagate and it was so easy to use! Thank God I bought it and USED it.....my Mac Pro had a serious issue (not common with Mac's) and not even a week later, I had to use the Seagate to reinstall my photos/data - I would have lost everything!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well with my MacBook Pro and OSX 10.10.5. It is not fast enough to work on for intensive AV work, but that is not what it is designed to do. I transfer my 4K files to it for temporary storage.

I was able to hook up this drive and run time machine. I then replaced the drive (that was going bad) rebooted the MAC and restored from the Drive TimeMachine used to back up to. Easy, very Easy. Nothing lost and my Mac book Pro works like new. Great solid drive. I buy these when ever I need external storage or backups.

It follows the ease of using mac associated products with just plug and play. The hard drive is fast and super quiet. Hard to tell it is even working/transferring data. Very small. Fits in the palm of your hand. Comes with everything you need.
