Bought this to store all my extra files to clean up the internal hard drive, works nice, easy set up and go

The Seagate backup hard drive is doing exactly what it is suppose to be doing exactly when it is supposed to do it.

I just recently purchased this back-up device and have used it twice already. I'm amazed at the speed of the back-up.

This device was easy to set up with my Macbook. I love it, not only does it store files, it also backs up my Macbook.

Great performing external hard drive. the drive speeds are the fastest I had seen for a portable external drive. I didn't have it too long to be able to comment on the reliability. But also nice and well designed.

The Seagate Backup Plus for Mac is a good choice for backing up your data from Macs. It has a pretty simple interface to use, and it backs up automatically when plugged in via USB cable. 2 things that would improve it are being able to schedule the backups to occur at a specific date/time at regular intervals, and a better cable to plug into your Mac. I think the supplied cable is a little flimsy, and does not alway connect right away. And it just backs your stuff up on its own, no way to set any type of schedule. But it does back up everything, and it is nice and ordered to be able to find anything on the backups, which is the main purpose. Small improvements would make it a 5.

This is a no nonsense hard drive. Just plug it in and let it work through your Mac's built in backup software.

I bought this drive as a give for my daughter who is into photography. It was a great price for so much storage!

I purchazed this portable drive as a backup mobile drive. Seems to be very durable. Usb3.0 is fast. Very pleased.
