I thought it was a little confusing to use in the beginning; granted, I'm not very good with technology. I had some issues trying to get it to automatically upload and convert files from Mac to compatible form. Then when I stopped trying to figure that out, I could easily drag files from my computer hardrive to the seagate, and then clear them from my Mac with no problem.

I really love my Seagate. I was advised by my sister to purchase it and I am very pleased. Im not a computer expert and the seagate is perfect to keep all of my book information. Yes, Im writing a book!

Portable easy to use it is small and convenient for you to carry.

There's really not much to this one as it a good product and good make. Upload speeds are about as fast as an internal HD to the avg consumer. Casing is good. So far it's been 2 months and still works... that's pretty much is the most requirements. I give it only 4 stars as I can only compare it to a WD from 2 years ago which crapped out.

My last computer stopped functioning and fortunately I had a file backup drive. However it is no longer supported and no longer backs up automatically and the manufacturer went into receivership. So I needed to buy anew backup drive

Had to use this to backup some data and send to a client of mine. I've used others in the past and have had trouble with the "included software" needed to use the drive and pull down large data. This one worked flawlessly for my client.

Love the extra space for my laptop and desktop....

It's exactly what I expected it to be. I love the color and it's withstood being constantly plugged in. My only issue is that I can't watch movies in my Ps3 with it plugged in. Overall I would recommend this.

What can you say about an external hard drive other than it works and moves data relatively fast as long as you are on USB 3 port. No issues so far. It is mainly used for backups and some music storage.

I am a novice at backing up data from all my devices and I found that this external drive accommodates everything I need to do and more Great product.

My son knocked off my last computer off the table and it wouldn't charge right. We almost lost all our pictures, but I got the pictures and other important stuff transferred to the Seagate before it went completely dead. Now I don't have to worry about losing important data anymore.

I needed to back up my files and this portable hard drive does the job. I also have a Toshiba portable backup on another computer and find it more straight forward to locating the files. However, Best Buy does not carry it anymore (at least not at my store).
