A Lot For A Little

Good drive that works with Windows 11

The only nitpick I can give is that it can run loud sometimes, but an old spinny drive like this should just be used for backups and storage anyway, so it's not a big deal.

Well, it can be a little noisy when being accessed, this is a solid value play on a dollars per gigabyte metric. It may be obvious, but keep in mind that these drives need a power supply so be sure to account for that win planning your purchase.

Attempt of upgrading the drives in size didnt help. I got 2 of the 18 TB versions and backed up the entire Drobo with a TB to spare until we get a Synology with over 200 TB. Note both drives are set up for backup incase someone knocks 1 and renders it inaccessible. Right now i have them back in their box.

Great Purchase I Made!

It was the best purchase that I had made. Have had no trouble with the External Hard Drive. Highly Recommend It!!!!!

Unfortunately the drive comes formatted with the exFAT file system, which isn't recognized by my online backup - so I had to reformat the drive.

I will keep the westenhouse as a backup

EXFAT to NTFS
