Solid external HD. Good speed, good price. Worked out of the box. I'm using it for my Windows backups and it works perfectly. We'll see how long it lasts; specifically if it outlasts the storage capacity, which will take a few years, at least.

It's a great drive. Works very well. Occasionally some very, very quiet disk noises, nothing too loud though

Overall I really like the drive. Has added a ton of storage for things that dont need super quick access.. The ONLY thing I dont like and need to find where I can set it, is it takes FOREVER to wake back up once it idles down. Once I get that set to a bit higher setting should be a great addition.

Its a good product so far, great amount of space, it just takes my computer a few extra moments to think about switching from my desktop space to looking through its space. Nothing longer than a minute at most, so not bad at all, i feel as though its likely fixable but Im not even bothered enough to try

Works well with no problems. The price per byte is hard to beat. Not as fast as a solid state version, but for the price and the space it's plenty fast.

I haven’t used it extensively yet. I upgraded it to back up an aging Seagate 4TB and files from other locations. So far, it has performed as advertised. Read/write speeds are as expected, and during several GB and/or TB transfers, it didn’t feel excessively hot or loud. However, it does feel and look a bit cheap for the price. If that means more storage for a smaller case, I’m fine with it.

I’m a content creator hoarding 8 K footage, and this behemoth finally stopped my “scratch‑disk shuffle.” Large‑file copies average 220 MB/s sustained over USB 3.0; a full 4 TB project dump finished overnight with bandwidth to spare. The drive is nearly silent—fan noise from my PC masks it entirely. Seagate’s Rescue Data Recovery was the clincher; knowing professional recovery is covered for three years lets me sleep at night. Wish the enclosure had a USB‑C port for future‑proofing, but the included 18‑inch Type‑A cable is sturdy. Perfect bulk storage for Plex, Time Machine, or cold archives.

I have bought hard-drives throughout the years and usually expensive for 4TB to 8TB ranging over $100 to over $200. This purchase was a 24TB and under $300. The prices was amazing. The product is amazing. I put my games on this hard drive and the games run smooth with high frame rates. Im happy with my purchase and definitely recommend it to everyone

so far, so good - great price for a massive 24TB external hard drive, though is a bit early to tell for a storage device like this (will update this review if any problems in the future). files have been easy to transfer onto the drive, and after 2 months, haven't experienced any issues. think the main fear with any hard drive would be data corruption/loss over time, so it'll be interesting to see what these reviews look like in a few years' time - in the meantime, this drive does exactly what it says on the tin.

This is working perfectly so far! It was easy to plug in and start backing up data. Hopefully this one lasts longer than the other brand I had.

I cannot speak as to the durability of this item but so far I have been extremely satisfied with its performance.

I think this hard drive is great these seem to be the standard for high capacity desktop hard drives and bought the 24 TB and have had no issues I will update soon if anything changes

Very useful. Helps with backing up big files so i dont need to waste internet bandwidth redownloading them.

I have older Western digital hard drives, and a few Seagate drives. I needed to transfer a lot of them over to this newer unit as a back up. The transfer rate seemed a little slow, but I was transferring close to 19 TB of information. It is a good unit for back up your data. I would highly recommend having something to back up all your data and pictures and video because once they’re lost on a hard drive it is very expensive to try to recover. With the price sale that they have on this particular unit, this is an extremely good deal.
