I own a HUGE collection of music/videos (130TB) so I own many internal and external hard drives (60+ drives) so I think I know what I'm talking about. I've always used WD and Seagate drives but unlike WD, I've never had a single issue with and of my Seagate drives. Seagate is my #1 choice for consumer external drives and internal enterprise drives (Sata/SAS) for my desktops and my server.

26TB is insane! Super easy to set up (literally plug it in and go), and it’s fast for transferring big files. Perfect for backing up all my stuff and storing my media collection with tons of room to spare. Definitely worth it if you need a ton of space.

Cant ever have enough space. This thing works beautifully and fuctions up to all listed specs. Catching this on sale was an immediate purchase. Seagate from my experience has been the best for HDDs.

This external drive works excellent and is quieter than my other seagate external drives when saving files. The only exception is that it does make a louder clicking noise than I prefer when it starts up and from time to time. Despite this small issue I am very happy with this new drive.

Managed to get a 24 TB during a drop for around $200ish. Shucked it to find a Seagate Barracuda 24 TB HAMR. Added this directly to my NAS and it's been working without issue since. The enclosure is the only issue though. It would be nicer if they updated to a USB-C connection instead of whatever this Micro-USB hodgepodge is that they've been using since the early 2010s

Great harddrive at discounted price. Much have for storage and backup of large amount of data. The harddrive arrived as described and is working great.

Using it to expand storage for movies, tv shows, music, and backups. Currently using it solo (ordered another for mirroring). Speed is good for streaming multiple streams. Does make a ticking sound sometimes but can only hear it when there's no sound and cabinet doors are open.

Use this to back up my digital photo and video collection from the past 15 years. Good speed. Really large drive that allows me to backup multiple hard drives on my PC onto 1 for off-site storage. Very pleased so far.

Very Quiet..very fast..lot's of space for storing movies, music, etc. Very Highly recommend and the price was hard to beat for 26TB storage.

Easy installation, works well, but noisy, not Solid State. Good Value for large amount of data storage. I have a lot of photo and video files that are memory intensive.

Great item a the best price. I added this to several smaller Seagate drives I already have for more storage space and back ups.

Kinda slow file transfers, sort of loud. But with the 26TB space, and in an all in one storage unit. I love it. Easy yo setup. And just drag and drop file transfers.

The drive is quiet, reliable, and performs well. Great for storing security camera files and whatever you need. I'd only recommend buying if it's priced well. I did accidently knock the drive over and because of that it stopped working. Reaching out to seagate's customer report wasn't too bad but it is annoying to go through the whole process again. They do give an option to restore any lost data files which is nice (all covered by their warranty).

Excellent value for the money, as purchased the HDD on sale. Hopefully, the Seagate 26TB will serve as a reliable storage archive.

Great amount of storage for the price. Write speed is fast enough that transfers are reasonable.

This unit defiantly gets the job done, but it is noisy and spins up and down alot and causes lag on your computer when it does that.

26tb, it's what I asked for. The actual drive capacity is a bit smaller, but that's normal when buying a storage drive. It booted up with no problem and there were a few files on it for a tutorial, I'm guessing. The speed isn's too fast, it's about what you would expect from a hard drive though. This one will be going in a server that has 4TB of NVME cache. I noticed the drive also stops spinning when it's not in use. I'm sure it will last a while before dying, if it does I will update my review here.

Works great! Also for tje storage at a good price! Planning on buying another one!

I'm retired now, I use this device for my Body of work. As a Writer/Performer, that work is extensive. So far so good. This is one of the cheapest insurance policies you will ever buy.

Only two months old so way too soon to write a meaningful review. The drive only gets used several hours weekly so working fine so far. Initially, the new laptop defaulted to a 1 minute sleep time for all the drives; the Seagate is the noisiest drive I've used in a long time with major kajunk sounds as it powered up and down every minute. Resetting the sleep timer to 10 minutes resolved that issue. It works fine connected to a USB hub.
