Didn’t work

Cheaper solution for PS4
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As far as I know this is the 2 tb unit with the laptop hd. So buy this make sure it works. Then gently take it apart and replace PS4 500gb with its hd. Then put 500 gb in this case. Now you have a PS4 with 2 tb and a 500gb xHD.

Did not work

Trying to reformat it as I have done many times in the past with drives did not work, the drive would not even mount on my desktop & crashed my system. I got terrible email support from Seagate. Trying to return the item to Best Buy didn't work either, fortunately they ultimately refunded my purchase price without having to return it, so applause for Best Buy. I don't know if this drive would work with a PC, but for Mac, was great frustration..
