    This product is a very economical way to store a lot of data. It is not as fast as a solid state drive but it provides a great way to replace or back up cloud storage. I have owned 12 external hard drives from 3 different manufacturers over the years and the only one that I ever had go bad was a Western Digital 4 TB model. I am a fan of Seagate.

    I mainly purchased this drive to backup files, and it works well for that purpose, as well as serve as an external storage device at a decent enough speed.
