Died at 13 Months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This drive has a 1 year warranty and it died at 13 months with a years worth of server backups on it. Total garbage. Seagate used to be good, no longer. Warranty is useless.

Great External HDD for use with Xbox One
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This 5tb harddrive works great. I bought it for use with my Xbox One, as I needed more space. The Xbox One detects it no problem, and once formatted you have 4.5tb usable to store downloaded games, movies, etc. It will also be great to have once Microsoft releases the backwards compatibility update in November, as all your Xbox 360 games will have to be stored (or downloaded from the Xbox Marketplace) just as Xbox One games are to play them. Playing games off the harddrive works great. I didn't notice any longer loading times or any sort of errors doing so, and I have games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare installed on it. If you need more storage for your Xbox One, this is a perfect buy. You will find it VERY hard to run out of space, especially if you own the 1TB Xbox One. As a sidenote, I own the 500gb version. As an example, with this harrdrive assuming each game you had was taking up exactly 50gb (which not all games do), you could fit 90 games on it. Plenty of space!

No longer works!

Great 5 tb storage

Good Size External Drive

The only issue I have is I think they may run a little warmer that other Seagate external desktop drives.

Good performance and price

Performance is on par with any other drive I have used and the price per TB was excellent for this size drive. A few friends also purchased this drive the same time I did and I have heard no issues from any of them.
