We use it as an external drive for our WiiU and it performs perfectly. We haven't noticed any lag in loading our games from it, so we're very happy. It also takes up far less space than the WiiU so that helps keep the electronics eyesores to a minimum.

Top quality external hard drive that will last.

This particular model is one of the better ones I have owned. Larger capacity hard drives have problems much sooner so the best ones to buy are 4TB or less. This model is one of the better ones I have owned.

Very Easy to use

I then unplugged it from my older computer and added the Seagate as an additional drive to my newer computer. It works perfectly. I would give it 5 stars but I don't think personally I'm able to give any product 5 stars.

It does what you expect

Sometimes I can hear the drives running, but it is not that loud. It never got any close to warm. Got attached to my new router and it works as my personal cloud. I used crystaldiskmark to get write and read speeds on a USB 3.0 port with a 1gb test size.

Affordable hard drive

I needed some assistance from my tech support (aka my millennial niece) but once she showed me the way, the external hard drive was very easy to use.

quick, plug and play
