Very nice game drive with lots of space to store all your ps4 games even your ps5 games except you can't play ps5 games directly from the drive like ps4 games but it works with ps5 and it is very nice travel size can easily put it in your pocket and take all your digital games with you. Definitely a must have!

Works great! I still have it hooked up to my PS4. Definitely solved all of my space issues. I would have to delete games off, downloads, etc all the time. I haven’t done that since I bought!

Bought this for my PS5 because I had a lot of PS4 games downloaded onto the console and ran out of storage fast. So now I’m putting all my PS4 games on the extended hard drive which will free up space on my PS5 and now I can have all my PS4 games on the extended drive to play whenever. Now PS5 games will only be stored on the PS5 console. I had to plug it in the back of the PS5. Wouldn’t allow me to use the front USB had to use the back USB the closest one to the LAN connection. Worked easily.

Love this thing! If you’re an avid gamer, there’s no chance that the base storage on the ps5 would be enough. This helps with that issue. One thing to consider is whether you want the hard drive to store your ps4 or ps5 games because you can’t do both. Either the base storage gets the ps5 games and the hard drive gets ps4 games or the other way around. Either way, I definitely recommend it.

This is super small and super portable. For the price it’s a great buy

Even though its only function is data storage for devices, I gave it a five star because it served its purpose for me. I recently bought the new PS5 console by Sony, however I did not want to fuss with my PS4’s expansive library so I needed to store my PS4 library to external storage. The PS5 does have limited space and considering next-gen games require much storage like the new CoD: Black Ops (that literally sucks up almost HALF the storage); to keep your last-gen library the system advises you to purchase a external drive to make you aware of the limited space at the moment. So, this drive was just what I needed to throw my PS4 console in the recycle bin, and some, the PS logo and sleek black finish make it a great external drive to compliment the new PS5 console.

This is a great must have for PS4 owners. They should have come out with these a long time ago. Easy hookup. Just have to format the HD and your ready to go. I hated having to erase one game to download another. No need to do that if you have one of these. Very slim and compact. Fits well with the looks of the PS4. Just don’t turn of your system the improper way. Take a chance of corrupting files. Hasn’t happened to me yet but they warn you when you do.

I have this thing for a few months now and it is work flawlessly. I love this hard drive. The best decision ever was buying this. The setup was user friendly and easy.

This is a very sleek piece of PS4 accessory tech. I double dipped on some awesome savings and picked this up. Plug it in and format. Easy. No need to check OS systems or compatibility. I was copying games from my PS4 within minutes.

I was VERY tempted to just go ssd route with my ps5 but couldnt be swayed by the value here in terms of size . I mainly placed games that won’t take a huge toll in performance/Loading (So don’t put open world games unless you have to ) and place puzzle games, indies, platformers etc instead. Either way this is a solid

This is great for extending the storage size for your PS4! It has no problem with loading a game from the drive. I would recommend it if you have many digital versions of your games on PS4.

Any big gamers out there that need extra storage this will be a smart purchase to keep all your games on your ps4 or ps5 it’s easy to access and no download time necessary

This was an awesome purchase. Saved a bunch of time and money.

Works as advertised. Less than 2 minutes to plug in, and set as primary storage. Effectively quadrupled my storage on my 500 GB PS4. No real difference in load time that I can tell. Very happy with this purchase. The only minor issue is that it just has to hang out next to the PS4 attached by its very short cord. A longer cord might help to hide it, but this is a very small quibble. This does what I wanted it to with no hassle. No more agonized decisions over what to delete off the drive when I get a new game.

I bought tbis for my daughter bc her ps4 needed more memory/storage space. It was super easy to install and works great! I absolutely recommend this product to anyone in need of more storage for their ps4 bc it works! I would buy again 100% great value.

Purchased this because I thought it would be simpler to navigate since it said was designed for ps4. I’m not computer savvy. Everything popped up on the screen and I just followed the instructions. Took about a hour to transfer but worth the wait. Just have to plug it back in if I want to play any games stored on it.
