Risky

I got home, plugged it in, and easily set it up. However, about a week or two later, it got corrupted somehow, and I had to re-download everything again. It took me by surprise considering I don't ever move the hard drive nor mess around with it. I didn't lose anything I couldn't just get back, so I dismissed this, However, just today, I was downloading an update file for one of the games I have on it, and then it randomly started beeping, and the download stopped. I was given the message that my USB external hard drive was unplugged, even though it was still plugged in. Turns out the beeping is an error with the reader inside the hard drive, and upon looking at some other reviews, my case is not unique. It has happened to a couple of people. The product has good value, but has history of malfunctions... Gonna try to see if Seagate helps out at all in the morning.

However, it became clear to me that PS4 games just take up a lot of space, and even more when you purchase a few digitally. This hard drive solved all of these issues, and now I no longer have to be concerned with deleting game software to make room for new titles. Must-have item!
