However, it became clear to me that PS4 games just take up a lot of space, and even more when you purchase a few digitally. This hard drive solved all of these issues, and now I no longer have to be concerned with deleting game software to make room for new titles. Must-have item!

ONE YEAR LATER- STILL GOOD

One year later I am now using it as a backup drive for photos and videos from my PC and have never encountered any issues with it. I like the cheap price for the amount of storage you get (if you are concerned about read/write speeds, you shouldn’t even be considering a hard drive, look for the solid state ones). Amazing accessory!

There isn't many great ps5 games right now, so the majority of my games are ps4 and they filled up my storage pretty quickly. With this hard drive I was able to format it as internal storage and transferred all my ps4 games to this hard drive and cleared up my ps5 storage for ps5 games. Depending on how many games you have, it will take a while to transfer. Don't expect to transfer and play immediately right after.
