Good external hard drive for what you need.

Although an internal hard drive update would have been more ideal, and infinitely faster, this will do. Also, if the availability of PS5's were there, I would have bought him the new-gen system instead of making do.

Wasn't pre-formatted as advertised

Thankfully I knew what to look for, and when I plugged it into my PC, it was set to NTFS which doesn't work with PS4. I simply had to format it properly to fix it. No idea why it wasn't formatted correctly in the first place, since I didn't really see any others complaining of this, but that's why I'm removing a star. I had bought it for convenience, but I could have probably bought a bigger drive for a better price and formatted it myself anyway.
