This hard drive is AMAZING! It was well worth the money. I switched from the PS4 to the PS5 and I didn't know if my old hard drive would store some of my PS4 games, so I purchased this one. Not only was I able to store my PS4 games, but also some of the PS5 games that I have downloaded. I would recommend this hard drive to all gamers

Excellent addition to any ps4 isn’t too costly & very simple to use just plug into a usb/controller slot but if u ever decide to disconnect this from your ps4 it needs to be done properly or risk losing data from this hard drive also I was told this is compatible with a ps5 but I didn’t try it so I can’t say for sure

Bought it to (obviously) increase the storage of my PS4. If comes with the needed cable and took about 5 seconds to hook up to my system. I transferred a lot of game info over (which did take some time) and it has worked perfectly ever since. Worth the money for anyone looking for some more space, especially on sale.

Simple to setup and use. Seems to run quickly enough. I have only used it for a month, but pleased so far. Strictly used it to expand the memory of our old PS4 until we eventually get a PS5. Great Black Friday price.

Quick easy setup. Plugged into my PS5 and was ready to go. No extra formatting steps needed. I was able to transfer and save my games quickly and efficiently. Price was excellent for 2TB of storage at less than $80.

Honestly, I bought this mainly because it has the PlayStation logo on it; but also to play PS4 games on my PS5. It runs perfectly fine as far as I can tell. Games run crisp and stably (as long as the drive isn't actively downloading or uploading anything in the background.)

Easy to use, plenty of storage, good price, good design

Great device my son has plenty more memory in his PS4 ! He was able to download all his game in this device from his library on PlayStation now he’s loving playing his favorite gran turismo 7 and other games without the drama of delete and download!

I'm not sure what to say about this other than, if you are needing extra storage for your PS5, this is definitely worth the purchase. I've moved all of my PS4 game to the drive, freeing up space on the console. When I finish some of my PS5 games I'll probably move them to the drive as well in case I want to play them later.

Recently I picked up a PS4 Pro and quickly was filling up the console storage. Decided to look at a few different external portable HDD. Felt that the 2TB drive would meet my storage demands. This drive was Official Licensed for Playstation. Normally that means a slightly higher price point, but this was a great deal. Connected the drive with the provided cable to my PS4 Pro and formatted the drive. Moved my downloaded games over to the new drive. Took a good day, but was well worth it. My PS4 Pro now has space on the original drive. The new drive has my currently downloaded games and games I'm currently playing. No noise or heat issues. The drive works perfectly with the PS4 Pro. The front has the PS logo and Seagate is molded into the front as a big S. This is again the portable drive (no power cord needed) gets power from the provided cable and the PS4. See photos. This drive also has a 3 year warranty, nice. Hope this was helpful.
