I’ve had this with my PlayStation 5 for a couple years now and it’s been great, hold all of my games fine and have had no corruption problems with it whatsoever.

It’s honestly such a relief to have all of my games “downloaded” onto my PS4. The storage on this device is awesome and since most of the games I have require 60-100 GBs of storage (not including updates and DLC) its very beneficial for me. If you have a lot of games but find yourself deleting older games to download new ones or deleting a lot of games to just download one then this Drive is for you. A good thing to know is that in order for you to play your games you need to have the Drive connected at all times (this is only for users who decide to download all content onto drive). You can also choose which games or content you want download onto the drive which is convenient. I chose to download everything on it and I love it.

This was definitely great after waiting two weeks to get it at its original price of $99 it was definitely worth it! I waited the first week to see if they had any sales he dropped a little but then when he came the weekend of the buy it dropped down to $69 it pays to wait but it also pays to know what you’re buying cost wise. I’ve been using this for the last three weeks it works great you just have to format it first. It works great with my PS4 it allows me to transfer a lot of things that were on my PS4 1 TB and his speed up the process of me retrieving games apps I have yet to put any photos or music on it but definitely going to look into it later.

It is for PS4/PS5 games storage but only PS4 games can be played off of it. You have to move the PS5 games back to play them, which to me is fine. I have a lot of PS4 games so this greatly helps me.

I freed up storage from my playstation 4 pro with this. Its quite and easy to use. First you would format it, then thats it. You can make it so when you download or install a game it can go to the external device. Great product.

I bought this for my son's birthday. Originally had plans to buy ps5 but we couldn't find it anywhere. So we decided to just expand the storage on my son's ps4. It has a 500 GB storage so adding this expanded it to 2 TB which is plenty. He can now add 30+ games and not have to worry about what to delete or what to keep in order to have space. The hard drive was very easy to connect, just plugs into the usb port on front of ps4. As far as set up, all you do is go into playstation settings, click on new devices, then format new device and you're done. The fact that Seagate partnered with PS to make this hard drive specifically for it's console made setting up this new device a breeze. I would definitely recommend it.

I have the PS4 with the offensively small amount of internal storage. The one that allows me to have GTA V and Red Dead 2, and not much else installed on the console. I had just been deleting and re-installing games any time I wanted to play them (we both know how long those downloads take). I'm not entirely sure why I waited SO long to buy one of these external hard drives... but it has been a life changer. I can install ALL of my game library! I don't have to sit around waiting to install a 60 gb game every time I want to play! The drive itself is small and sleek. It comes with like a 5 inch or so cable, so you can set the drive next to your console. If you have a game library of more than 3-4 games and the small console, this purchase is so worth it!

It’s a hd drive that expands your storage. It works as advising, you just plug it in. Real simple to use. It improves the life of your ps4, you don’t need to but the ps pro or whatever. I’ve been able to download more games

Glad I found out about this. I was getting tired of having to delete games to play others. Since I have gotten this device,I have loaded a ton of games without having to delete others.

Great value. You can store and play ps4 games right off the hard drive with ease and you can store your ps5 games on here for when you're ready to play them again.

Really amazing if you have have a PS5. If you want extra space or extra games that you bought digital on PS4 you can download on ps5 as ps4 games and have it in the ssd drive.

This was a perfect purchase, got exactly what I paid for and great price for the amount of space. Will be buying again once I somehow run out agai!

My son was excited about the storage space and that it was actually the PS brand so he knew for a fact he was going to download so many games. Which he did. So I’m pretty happy about that.

Bought this for my ps4 for extra storage (obviously) and it’s great. I don’t think you could mess up an external hard drive. Does what it’s meant to do, no complaints here!

Years later this hard drive is still amazing and works great. It has the perfect amount of space for my ps4 and it is even now working perfectly with my ps5, for sure a must have.
