Not what I was looking for, I recommend getting an internal drive instead.

Doesnt work with my sons ps5, and I cant figure out why

Was not recognized by either our PS4 or PS5. Returned item.

It only lets you store the game on a ps5 not play them and for me at least i could download it faster then copying back on to the system

Tried to hook it up to my PS5 & says its only compatible with PS4 games. Definitely defeated the purpose of me getting it. Just a waste of time & money if getting for the PS5

I originally got this hard drive for my ps4 over a decade ago at this point. It is still going strong with no issues and is now used on my ps5. I even bought another two for some friends of mine and their systems knowing I could trust it to work very well, with easy installation, and last a long time. One of which is now about 6 years old at this point with no signs of slowing down. Great if you have a great, big, back catalog of specifically ps4 games. Simply plug it into the USB A port in the back of either your ps4 or ps5 system, boot it up, the system will recognize it and do the rest! Easy! If you manage to put it in the wrong port. The system will let you know without causing a disturbance or breakage of your system. So no worries!

Before purchasing, always do your homework. You cannot play PS5 games that are transferred over to this device, you will have to transfer them back to your console to play them. However, any PS4 game that is transferred, is playable.

Works perfect and tripled the storage on my playstation 5! Only downside is that games have to be copied back over to the ps5 from the hard drive in order to be playable but the process is very fast.

Very good storage expansion, a bit small in the storage size thought with the sizes of modern games, but it’s on the cheaper side and it’s easy to setup.

Bought this for my little brother since he has a lot of games, it stores games easily. The thing I did not know was that you wouldnt be able to play the games directly from the drive. But it works for storing your games.

I got this as a gift for my dad and when I tell you he loves it, HE LOVES IT! He no longer complains about needing to delete everything for space lol

It is a good product. Easy to use. It is unfortunate it only plays PS4 games directly from it but glad it had mentioned it in the description.

This device was able to store my entire library of games that I've accumulated over the years. Great purchase and totally worth it!
