Can’t play games stored on hard drive

But, with PS5, you cannot play games stored onto it and must copy the game back to the console to play. Therefore, I was forced to return and instead purchased a SSD.

More for PS4

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this hdd thinking i could install ps5 games and data directly from disc insert, but it will only do it for ps4 titles. ps5 games install directly to console storage, then you have to transfer it manually to your HDD, but you cannot play it directly from HDD (only works for ps4). unfortunate, but if you're looking to make space on your ps5, then this hard drive is perfect for the storage. but if you think of playing those games again, you'll have to transfer it back to the ps5 console to play.

Works great ,though with a drawback
