Easy to transfer the games I am not ready to play right away and just to store when and if I get to them. If I wanted a faster transfer speed I could go with an SSD drive, but for the price and the amount of storage...I am satisfied.

So Far It’s Working

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to purchase this Seagate HDD especially made to be compatible with PS4 Pro because the 5TB and 8TB Seagate HDD world not work. The 8TB was a little too large. So I bought the portable 5TB Seagate identical to this 4TB except it was all black. The 5TB worked for a while then my PS4 would not read it! I tried everything. I could reformat it and use it with a PC or Mac but not my PS4 Pro. Even though this 4TB Seagate made for PS4 is working it’s not a super price. I think I will still upgrade my original 1TB internal HDD and that’s probably the best option.

You have to transfer the games to the ps5 when you want to play them but is better than no having extra space or even worst paying so much more for not doing just that.
