Only for ps4

He told me it was for ps5 and could hold all my games because of its usb…not at all true. The ps5 will format it to hold only ps4 games and that’s it. I pointed out that the box even says just for ps4 he said it didn’t matter. So please buy knowing it’s only for ps4 games

6 months, then crashed

Was mid game and the hard drive corrupted. (Said it was disconnected, however it was still plugged it) ps4 no longer reads the hard drive. Had about 2.8 TB of games on there as well for a reference point. Was not able to fix with ps4 or pc

NOT PS5 Game and Data Compatible!

While it will hold PS4 games and data to use on the PS5, it will NOT hold PS5 games and data.

Great with PS5

It is faster to transfer from the extended storage to console than redownloading it. You can play PS4 games from the box if you havw any in there.

Get this drive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When you frist plug it in the PS5 it will tell you that the drive is not supported you’ll have go in to the storage menu on the PS5 go to external drive or usb external drive you’ll have to reformat the drive and when done it will ask do you if want PS4 games to install on your new drive click yes and your good to from there.. any ps4 game you download or play on disk will be installed on usb external drive and youll have your PS5 memory to download ps5 games
