Please beware when purchasing this. It is capable of holding both ps4 and Ps5 games. HOWEVER, this is where it gets the one star, IT CANNOT CARRY BOTH SIMULTANEOUSLY. When plugging into my ps4 to download the games it asked me to set it up a certain way, X-fat file. When connected to os5 to download games it says it doesn’t have the proper storage device attached. So in order to download ps4 games it must be formatted in a way that it no longer works to download Ps5 games UNLESS you delete your ps4 games and reformat. I wish I had known this before I bought the one with a bigger memory because I ended up needing two separate external drives not one with bigger memory. l

Not bad but can’t play games off the external

Even contacted them through chat to make sure it could store games and be played. They said it can and it cannot. You can store the games but have to reupload them to the console. Did more research and you have to buy an internal hard drive or the PlayStation 5 which is about 5x more expensive than this. Don’t waste your time or money.
