It gets the job down. The PS5 is different when it comes to storage so, you will have to copy from the drive to the system

Its works good for the PlayStation 4 however it does not allow for the running of game on the PS5 you have to reinstalled any previously saved game before being able to play them on the PS5

Ideal storage to free up space on the internal drive. Can’t play games off of the external drive but the transfer rate to the internal storage is pretty quick.

Nice to move ps4 games onto so space is freed up on ps5.

Lots of storage just takes forever to move files from playstation5

This is a great price but I wish I would’ve bought an internal storage instead. I didn’t realize that we would have to transfer games back and forth between this drive and our PS5. I wouldn’t have bought it if I had known that.

A waste of money. Do not purchase. I don’t know how these other people allegedly got theirs to work. But my 5TB does not work for my playstation 5. Does not allow me to install PS5 games on it. No matter how i plug it into the system. And I fully anticipate when i attempt to return it tomorrow for them to give me only store credit when I bought it in cash and I will be upset! If I could give less than 1 star I would. This was a terrible purchase. I am so mad especially because the box says it is compatible.

Product is not 3.2 Gen it is only 3.0 Gen! Don't be fooled-Not worth the price and you can't play ps5 games off the drive -you have to install on your ps5 in order to play. You can only play ps4 games off of it. This drive is only used for storing games not photos or videos or saved data-use a different external for this-all in all do not buy! Straight rip off!!

Although it is faster to transfer games rather than downloading them. I'd rather play them immediately rather than having to transfer them.
