Excellent value, works great with the Series S for any last gen games. The xBox proprietary memory is needed for any opptimized Series S or new Series S/X releases but it is outrageously expensive. This will give you plenty of space for Gamepass

Bought a different usb hard drive and tried on several occasions to load games for more storage and just couldn't get the storage to work. First time using this drive and no problems at all ,was able to save all my games and free up space on my system. Have used the drive for more than three months.

Hands down the best external hard drive for xbox one. if you are a gamer and like to play more than just one game at a time. Then you are going to need this extra memory portable hard drive. My son plays lots of different games on his xbox one and he needs 2TB but if if you need more then they have a 4TB.

Kids were pestering me for additional storage and instead of just getting an external SSD, we saw this and figured it is "intended" for the XBOX, so why not. They seem very pleased with its ease of use, meaning the games and data seem to load quickly onto it and there have been zero issues with game play. The system picked it up quickly and reflected the increase in both available and used disk space. Hopefully there will be enough memory as next time I'm sure they will pester me for an entirely new system! LOL.

I bought this hard drive as a gift for my younger brother who is an avid gamer. I ordered online through the Best Buy website and added his information to the person who was to be picking it up. Everything went smoothly. He has had it for about a month now and he loves it. No complaint's great product.

The XBOX ONE model we purchased turned out to not have enough memory and we could only play a few games on it. Sad, very sad. But adding an external hard drive was not only easy, but made all the difference. Now we can add a ton of games. Wish we would've not waited so long! Total game changer, no pun intended. :)
