My son needed extra space to download more games. This should be enough for that. I suggest having whomever is using this get rid of demo's and downloaded content that they don't need first as that may be all you need to get an additional game or two on your system.

I didn't have that much space on my Xbox One so I recently bought this at my local Best Buy store and works straight out of the box. A quick setup from the Xbox is required in order to format it for the device and after that it's all set. A great amount of space

Returned a standard Seagate drive for this one after we couldn't get the standard one to work properly with the Xbox One, and yes, we did follow proper formatting procedures. May have just been a faulty drive. Anyway, had this up and running seamlessly in no time.

My son ran out of space on his XBox One and couldn't load any of his games he got for Christmas. Immediately ran to Best Buy and picked this up. It was easy in install and get the games loaded. Haven't had a problem with it all. Great purchase so far!

If you have an Xbox, you need this. With the large amount of content that now is available in digital format, the storage space that comes with a standard Xbox runs out very quickly. This is a reasonably priced plug and play solution for that problem.

Originally had a Seagate Game Drive and it stopped working after two years. Was not able to recover my files, so i had to re-invest and get a new one. Easy to set up and use right out of the box.

So far it’s great, I’ve only downloaded 1 game to it, saves on space on Xbox so I can take it with me to a friends house and plug it in and play that game on his console

Since my Xbox 1's hard drive is only 500gb, I needed some extra storage for all my games. I picked this hard drive up, and easily set it up and installed extra games on it with no problems. And 2TB is plenty of space for a good amount of games.

Great Official Xbox One extension storage hard drive. Lots of room for games install. 2TB is a lot of storage. I got this on Black Friday sales. Will keep me busy till I get my Xbox Series X.

Present for my son-he has an older Xbox that had reached its limit Was not plug and go on his machine , you tube a video, set it up and good to go! Freed up a bunch of space in his unit for the new games he got!

Easy to set up. One thing to note...if you have a game on your internal hard drive that has an update due, the xbox will try to save the update to the external hard drive which won't work because your game is on the internal hard drive. I got stuck in a loop where the update wouldn't install, but I couldn't cancel the update either. Ended up uninstalling the game/reinstalling the game. Other than that I can't think of any complaints.

I picked this up because I kept having to delete my games because I was running out of HD space. This freed up everything and now I don't have to worry about losing my saves. for less than 100 bucks on sale, this was a great great purchase.

Although it works with xbox one, I bought this for my 360 adding 2TB of memory!! I can now FINALLY download all the games I deleted in the past to make room!! Under $100!!! Plug into to usb port 2 and format and youre good to go!!
