I definitely needed more storage for my Xbox 360. FYI, 2 gb is the maximum external storage capacity for Xbox 360 (as of the time of writing this review). With Microsoft finally updating the 360 with external hard drive support I began looking into options. I could have chosen other options, including less expensive ones. I just liked the green skin of this product. Not to mention it was already supported by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 - so a little bit of peace of mind when it comes with compatibility. Again, there are other options out there as well. But I consider this a good buy.

I got this on discount and was the best investment. I have had this for about 2 years and no problems have occurred.

I got this while it was on sale just after I purchased a 1 TB Xbox One X since I know I will definitely be in need of the extra storage considering that I will be downloading a lot of games that have 4K enhancement graphics. The external hard drive is VERY easy to setup and you can take it with you anywhere and play all of your games that are saved onto the HD on any other Xbox One. I have my settings setup to save to the external HD as my default settings. Definitely a must have. There’s also a 4 TB external HD and limited edition Gears of War 5 TB external HD being released sometime in late Aug. or early Sept.

So this 2TB external hdd is just enough extra space to go with my Xbox One X. I have over 75+ (old and new) games installed over the internal and external storage which is about 3TB. I'm just under 1 TB now and I have to say, this is enough space for most gamers. The write and read speed don't seem slow compared to the internal hdd, but it's better than having to download a deleted game. This product is worth it if you need extra space!

Great to have the extra storage and it work on both my old Xbox One X and now my Xbox series X.

I can't believe this little thing has so much memory. It's small easy to install and it works as advertised. This is a must for any xbox user.

I was an original purchaser of the Xbox One console and I had filled the relatively small 500 GB drive in under a year. It was a pain to have to delete old games to make way for the new. This seemed to be a great option to significantly increase my storage space. It was a little challenging to set up at the beginning as the console didn't recognize the drive. Power down and back up and I was good to go. Does take one of the USB ports that I used for charging my controllers, but otherwise hassle free.

I thought 500 gigs of hard drive space would be plenty when I bought my Xbox One. Wrong! I researched external Hard drives before purchasing and I must say for the price and for quadrupling my hard drive space I am very pleased. Just plug it in and your ready to go. Very portable speak design also

Very nice looking unit. Tiny in size and works by just plug and play, very simple. A must if you have Xbox one and like to purchase different games. This device will hold up to 50 games.

This was well worth the money. Installs games very quick and is very easy to set up

The only downside for the Xbox One is that games must be installed onto the hard drive. 15-20 games will fill up a 1 TB drive quick. I was pleasantly surprised to see this hard drive w/ the Xbox logo. It's great to have 15% of 3 TB worth of storage used rather than 50% on the system drive alone!

Though it may sound like a lot of space, 500 GB fills up fast, especially with the amount of memory required by games when downloading to your system. The external hard drive of 2 TB is a great solution. I was able to connect and move my games from my Xbox One to the external drive with ease. You even get a change to name your hard drive. Furthermore, you can take your drive and game (if needed), with you to hook up to another Xbox One. At $100, it may be a bit pricey for some, but the additional space is worth it as you will be allowed to download more games. Be on the lookout of for sales; I got mines $10 off. I hope this helps.

I was looking for an HDD at around a $100 price. This one was perfect. Easy to setup, took just about an hour to transfer EVERYTHING (500GB of data) from one HDD to the other.

Honestly I was a little hesitant on spending the money for this item, but I must tell you that it became a Must Buy item and now I am the proud owner of 3 of these (one for each xbox). The Xbox does not come with enough memory space for the games that are currently coming out. Nobody wants to have only 3 games on their xbox, and the last thing you or your child wants to do is delete their past games and the progress they have on those games just to be able to play their newly purchased game. That is when the external hard drive comes into place. It is easy to install and use, and now there is no longer anymore arguments/pouting over what older games are going to be deleted to be able to play the newest game. Highly recommended for all gamers.

Before I got this, I would have to delete games from my Xbox in order to download new games. Now with this storage unit, I won't ever have to delete anymore games! It holds a ton of games! 2TB is more then enough for me!

This is very handy to have if you have a 500 GB xbox 1. I still don't know why Sony and Microsoft only put such a small amount of storage space on their systems when the games now a days are so huge. Anyways this is a nice product and I am happy to have it.
