My son insisted it was the one he needed, but if this one fails as fast as the last one (less than 2 years) we will switch to another storage drive. Compared to others and wanted something with no unforseen hassle, this was it. When compared to other external storage, Yes, a bit overpriced and not on sale often. It was a hard decision when other 2TB cost $25 less at times.
