enjoying new tv, just the right size

Luckily I had backed up my old drive to an external drive. It went out. I created a boot up disk from another computer then backed everything up to this drive. We've noticed that it's a faster drive than what my laptop initially had. Only problem is that now I keep getting messages from Microsoft that I'm not running genuine Microsoft software. It's easier to just X those out instead of trying to verify my software. I think it's because I backed up my drive from the ext drive.
