Fine for a replacement HDD

Good replacement for my Toshiba laptop hard drive

Good experience and good price for product.

Great value and allowed my laptop to be renewed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My XP 300 Gig HD crashed, I used the Apricorn SATA Wire 3.0 - USB 3.0 Interface to any 2.5" SATA Drive cost $39.00 and pulled my encrypted data off the HD that crashed (It was nice that the HD encryption was still password protected ). The Apriorn product allows you to make a cloned drive. The Apricorn software allows for a complete backup of your system including all of the software that was installed. This is a cheap investment to have a full backup and allow you to be back up and running quickly. If you have a laptop with a SATA HD, I would recommend buying a second SATA drive and I would buy the EZ Upgrade 3.0 - SATA Notebook Hard Drive Upgrade Kit with USB 3.0 Connection this gives you a case for the backup HD. The team at Best Buy were a great help in pointing me to these tools that allowed me to get my data recovered and my laptop back working quickly for less than $100 with a new HD and 200 gigs more disk space.

No problems replacing system drive.

I selected this drive as it was about $5 less than other drives of the same size. Windows key was automatically installed as it is programmed into a chip on the system board. Nothing beats a clean install, so everything is running fast.
