Average hard drive, nothing special

Obviously, SSD is the way to go if you want speed, but at the cost of this drive, it works nicely for an average user's laptop. Especially if they are mostly an office worker and don't need the speed of an SSD.

Good fit for Mac and PC Laptops

Seagate has been more reliable in my experience, compared to other replacement HDs. Comes with a 2 year warranty. Register at the seagate.com. https://www.onlineregister.com/seagate/ Works for Mac and PC. On Mac, just use the disk utility to format it in Mac OSX Journaled.
