So far, very nice and smooth performance. On a par with the older SSD drive and 500gb of storage. Will post follow up but so far, extremely pleased for the price.

Product and Geek Squad

The GS had rescued my Dell laptop from a hard drive crash...and once received recovery pack from Dell, the GS restored with this hard disc drive. Perfect product and perfect GS service...as always!

Pricing and Availability

Secondly I purchased it from them because they tend to have good prices and tend to have them in stock when I need one. There are other "tech" stores in my area but when it comes to Seagate drives (which I prefer), Best Buy is usually a Best Bet for having them in stock.

Great hard drive for laptop..

The drive was is packaged very well and has a good warranty. Installation was easy and the 500 Gig size easily supported a dual-boot configuration. (XP and Windows7)
